Allison Homes Celebrates the Launch of Our New East Midlands Headquarters

We are excited to announce the official opening of our new East Midlands headquarters in Castle Donington, marking a major milestone in our ongoing growth at Allison Homes.

Our new regional office is home to Allison Homes East Midlands Ltd, which began operations in October 2024. On 30th June, we welcomed Amanda Hack MP, local authority guests, housing partners, and stakeholders to a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the occasion.

Welcoming our guests, CEO John Anderson shared our vision for the future and praised the incredible progress our East Midlands team has already made. He said, “I am so proud of what has already been achieved in the East Midlands under the stewardship of Karl Edwards, our Operations Director for the East Midlands region. The enthusiasm, drive and engagement of the team is a testament to our principals of kindness, collaboration and teamwork that is at the heart of the company.

Our new 5,500 square foot office at Willow Farm Business Park places us at the heart of the region, with excellent transport links that allow us to better serve our growing number of developments in Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire. We have already secured five land parcels in the area and successfully launched our first East Midlands development, St Mary’s Chase in Stanton-under-Bardon.

The new space has been fully refurbished to reflect our commitment to providing a supportive and forward-thinking working environment. It includes breakout areas, branded interiors, high-spec meeting facilities, EV charging points, and more – all designed to support the next phase of our growth.

Karl Edwards, our Operations Director for the East Midlands region, spoke about how far the team has come and our plans for the future. He said, “We’re proud to see our new headquarters officially open its doors. Castle Donington has been our home since the beginning of our East Midlands journey, and this new office gives us the space and facilities we need to grow.

Starting as a team of one, we’ve grown to 17 people – and we’re still hiring. We’ve created roles across planning, sales, estimating, admin and technical, and we’re currently recruiting for a Regional Marketing Manager, Head of Land, Head of Finance and a Civil Engineer.

Having Amanda Hack here to help us mark the occasion is a real honour, and a sign of how invested we are in creating jobs, homes and lasting communities across the region.

Amanda Hack, MP for North West Leicestershire, officially opened our new headquarters and shared her thoughts on the importance of creating new homes in the region. She said, “We have huge aspirations [as a government] to build 1.5m homes during this parliament. There is real opportunity here in the East Midlands. We have some major organisations in the constituency. It is one of the fastest growing areas for new homes.

It is a huge challenge, but I think that one of the things that is really inspirational listening to Allison Homes’ story is its understanding of that need. We need homes in all forms, whether that is outright sales, shared ownership or homes being built to rent at affordable rents or at social rates.

She also spoke about the rapid progress we’ve made since launching in the region. “The fact that you have managed to achieve all of this from a standing start gives me real hope for the future.

The opening of our Castle Donington headquarters follows the successful launch of St Mary’s Chase and is part of our wider plan to deliver 2,000 homes a year across our UK divisions. With over 230 employees nationally and our East Midlands team continuing to grow, we’re proud to be building more than just homes – we’re building thriving communities across the region.
